  • Hunters took one deer
  • one Fawn in High fence area
  • Hunter reports that deer are getting into the Deer Exclusion HIgh fence area (about 60 acres between the high bluff along the river and the road) because he observed multiple Deer on his game camera, telling us that there are more are getting inside and that out fence needs repair.
  • Caretakers plan to secure the High fence area and eliminate all possible passages for Deer to get inside. This must be done while still allowing access for smaller animals to roam freely through the fence. The current plan is to design and build one or more stiles for climbing animals to easily get over the fence instead of under.
